Pasifika Art

We created Pasifika patterns, using our knowledge of Fractions. First we divided the background paper into quarters. Then we used different colours to represent the background. Following that, we folded squares of paper in half diagonally, to create symmetrical leaves. We discussed what fraction of our leaves were different colours.

  1. Hello Room 6, my name is Amaya and I am from Manukau. I really enjoyed your blog post because the flowers were bright and that made it stand out from the top posts. I also like that you used fractions to do art. Have you thought about adding a reflection to the end of your work saying how you felt about your work? Overall you did a really good post and great art.
    See you in school!!!
